LOS ANGELES: Bobby Shriver, the nephew of the late US president John F Kennedy and brother of California first lady Maria Shriver, married his fiancee Malissa Feruzzi in Los Angeles.
The two were married at a Catholic church in the city's Brentwood area during an afternoon ceremony on Saturday attended by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Shriver, along with their seven-year-old son Christopher.
Shriver, 51, is an attorney who heads the foundation DATA (Debt, Aids, Trade, Africa), which seeks to reduce Third World debt, poverty and illness. He was elected to his first public office last year as city councilman in Santa Monica.
Feruzzi is an artist. She was appointed to the California Arts Council by Schwarzenegger in March.
