A COMPETITION on climate change has been launched by the British Council.
It is being held on the sidelines of the exhibition entitled "NorthSouthEastWest: A 360¼ View of Climate Change" at Beit Al Quran.
The initiatives are part of ZeroCarbonCity, the council's two-year global campaign to raise awareness about climate change and global energy challenges.
To enter the competition, participants can take a photograph or draw a picture on the theme Climate Change.
The age groups for the drawing competition are seven to 11 years and 12 to 17 years, and photography competition are 13 to 17 years and 18 years and above.
Winners of the photography competitions will each receive a 7.1 Megapixel Canon Digital IXUS 70 camera and the winners of the drawing competition will win BD100 of professional arts supplies.
The winning entries will also be placed on display at the British Council.
The closing date is May 27 and participants must be Bahrain residents.
