MORE than 25 doctors and medical professionals received advanced life support training at the BDF Hospital, West Riffa.

The four-day Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (Also) course was conducted by the BDF Hospital training and development directorate under the patronage of BDF Royal Medical Services director Brigadier Dr Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa.

At the end of the course Dr Shaikh Khalid presented tokens of appreciation to BDF Hospital Obstetrics and Gynaecology department head Colonel Dr Huda Sharida, Also director Dr Adelah Al Babetain and King Abdul Aziz Medical City training centre director Dr Mohammed Khairi.

Those attending the course included health professionals from King Fahad University Hospital, Saudi Arabia, Paediatric and Obstetrics Hospital, Saudi Arabia, Salmaniya Medical Centre, Awali Hospital, Jidhafs Hospital, Muharraq Hospital and the American Mission Hospital.
