FREE consultations will be offered as part of a health awareness month organised by Al Hilal Hospital, Muharraq.

A mother and child healthcare week will run from Saturday to August 8; an ear, nose, throat and eye care week will run from August 9 to 15; a general surgery and urology care week runs from August 16 to 22; and wellness week will run from August 23 to 28.

Chief executive officer Dr Sai Giridhar said the aim was to raise health awareness and provide free consultations to those who can't afford them.

There will also be free seminars and booklets, counselling on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to midday and from 4.30pm to 9.30pm. However, patients will have to pay for the cost of treatment.
