MANAMA: Leading insurance group RSA has announced the appointment of three officials at its Bahrain office. Shelly Burton has been named assistant branch manager, Deon Raveshlin sales manager and Christopher Golisch accounts executive.

These appointments further support RSA's ambitious growth strategy in Bahrain, and highlight RSA's commitment to developing its business.

The new appointments follow the re-branding and revamp of the Bahrain office and follow the announcement of a record 70 per cent growth in the business since last year.

In her capacity, Ms Burton will be responsible for supporting the country manager Philip Dominic as well as leading a number of initiatives, including new business-to-business models.

Mr Raveshlin and Mr Golisch will be responsible for assisting clients and brokers in Bahrain.

"The insurance market in Bahrain is growing at a rapid pace and Bahrain is fast becoming an insurance hub in the Middle East," Mr Dominic said.

"The appointment of these talented individuals is part of our ongoing plans to take the business forward and is a testament to our commitment to ensuring we hire the right people to deliver our brand beliefs to our customers".

Ms Burton has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having worked for FNB Insurance Brokers and Regent Insurance Company South Africa, where she held the positions of Branch Manager.

Mr Raveshlin and Mr Golisch both join RSA from FSP Solutions in South Africa, where they held the positions of Broker Consultant and Sales Consultant respectively.
