MANAMA: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) yesterday announced that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al Salam Islamic securities has been over subscribed by 300 per cent.
Subscriptions worth BD18 million were received for the BD6m issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins tomorrow and matures on June 3, is 1.07pc.
The securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of Bahrain.
