TIME is running out for budding designers to take part in a drawing competition that could see their artwork flown around the world.
Adults and children of all ages have been asked to create postcards based on historical images of Bahrain.
The contest, organised by the Culture and Information Ministry, Tourism Directorate and Family A to Z Bahrain, takes place at the Bahrain Fort Museum on Saturday from 10am to noon.
Multiple entries can be drawn on the day or brought to the event and should be presented on A4 size paper.
"The event will see three winners whose artwork will be turned into official postcards for the Bahrain Fort Museum and the tourism sector," said an organiser.
"The event promises to offer children loads of fun and a happy memorable time.
"Parents can be present to support the children while they let go of their creativity and imagination to tell the world about the Bahrain Fort."
A panel of well-known artists and prominent members of the society will judge entries and an exhibition of the artwork submitted will be held at the conclusion of the competition.
The winning entries will be announced shortly afterwards. For more information, call 17567174 or 17567177.
