MANAMA: Air India's Engine Overhaul Facility, Mumbai, and Sharjah-based Aerostar Asset Management have created an Engine MRO brand called The A Team.

Directed initially at the Middle East market, this strategic alliance will provide engine repair and management solutions to all airline operators of the region.

The A Team will utilise the existing facilities of Air India and Aerostar.

An agreement has been signed and the brand will be formally launched at the Dubai Air Show to be held from November 15 to 19.
