MANAMA: Scott Wilson, the global integrated design and engineering consultancy, has appointed Kareem Shamma as the country director of Bahrain, effective from next month.
He most recently served as chief executive officer of a real estate development company in Bahrain.
The Briton, with a Masters and First Degree in Engineering from Imperial College, University, London, brings to the role more than 25 years' GCC experience in the fields of engineering, development and construction, with technical and commercial skills gained in many sectors ranging from real estate to infrastructure.
He is responsible for enhancing Scott Wilson operations in Bahrain and the rest of the GCC.
"Mr Shamma's leadership ability and managerial expertise covering everything from major coastal, infrastructure and industrial works through to mixed-use real estate, commercial, and leisure developments and in markets that have covered Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Turkey, Indonesia and Jordan make him warmly welcomed to the team," regional director Eddie Foster said.
