A STEWARDESS has appeared in court for allegedly killing her friend in a horrific car accident.

The Moroccan woman, in her 20s, was allegedly speeding when she lost control of a rental car and swerved onto the pavement.

The impact caused her friend to smash through the windscreen and land on the road, according to Lower Criminal Court documents.

Injuries

As a result, a six-wheel truck, travelling in the opposite direction, smashed into several cars and drove over the victim's body - severing it in several places.

The defendant sustained severe injuries, while a third woman, who was in the back seat, escaped unharmed.

The driver has denied manslaughter and a judge adjourned the case until January 6. noor@gdn.com.bh
