MANAMA: Bahrain-based takaful provider t'azur Company has signed a distribution agreement with National Finance House (NFH) to provide t'azur general and family takaful products to NFH clients.
Products will include motor, home compact, its new accident and health plans, as well as the charitable savings plan Sadaqah.
"We are very pleased to partner with NFH, as the company, with its new insurance offerings, strive to deliver the best possible insurance plans to the Bahraini market, which is of course an objective which is very much shared by t'azur," said t'azur chief executive officer Nick Frei.
NFH is one of Bahrain's largest distributors of insurance serving more than 4,000 customers.
In order to efficiently manage communication between both firms, t'azur has provided NFH with a customised online portal that provides state-of-the-art software helping agents to transact business in real time, to the benefit of its customers.
"NFH is very pleased to work with t'azur," said NFH general manager Jassim Khalaf.
"t'azur has a great reputation and we are delighted to offer the t'azur Islamic Insurance plans to our customers and look forward to a successful partnership."
The company was founded by Unicorn Investment Bank with the goal of creating a regional Islamic Insurance company, operating in the rapidly growing GCC/Middle Eastern insurance market.
Its shareholders consist of blue chip institutional investors from across the GCC.
