FIFTEEN men on trial for insulting a judge, who jailed them for 12 months for rioting, will learn their fate next month.
The men were convicted by the Lower Criminal Court for taking part in an illegal gathering and rioting in the Central Governorate.
But when the judge issued the ruling they allegedly chanted political slogans and inflammatory remarks at him.
The court will issue a verdict next month.
The men are also on trial in another case at the Lower Criminal Court for insulting the judicial process.
