The Bahrain squad won one of their three qualifying games, missing out on a berth in the Women's Asian Cup. They first loss to Vietnam 0-8, then were narrowly beaten by Hong Kong 1-3. They, however, managed to sign off from the competition with a fine 4-1 win against Kyrgyzstan.
