Highway crash tragedy

MANAMA: A man was crushed to death when he stepped out to see what was wrong with his minibus after it stalled in the middle of a busy highway yesterday, reports ANIQA HAIDER. Pakistani Faisal Mehmood Raja Mohammed Ayub was hit by a car driven by a Bahraini driver on the Estiqlal Highway near Sanad.

Four die as Egypt clashes continue

CAIRO: Rock-throwing protesters fought riot police through clouds of tear gas near Egypt's Interior Ministry on a second day of clashes triggered by the deaths in Port Said of 74 people - the country's worst soccer disaster. .
